Dorset Buttons are a traditional fibre craft button, used in the 18th & 19th centuries to fasten the country work smocks in Dorset. There are a variety of designs, traditional & modern, available. Standard button size is 24mm or small 19mm.
The 'Fibre Gems Collection' was launched in 2015, and consists of unique one off pieces,inspired by & incorporating both Dorset buttons and/or freeform crochet and sometimes semi precious stones. Each piece comes in an attractive box,or organza bag to make the gift (for yourself or a loved one), extra special .Necklaces;choker necklaces;bracelets;pendants; earrings & brooches.
